Soap Opera Weekly ---- Nov. 30, 2004

FYI

Catherine Hickland

Lindsay, One Life to Live

Favorite singer: Barry Manilow. His songs make you want to hang yourself, but they are romantic as hell.

Favorite movie: I loved Love Actually, it was a perfect soap opera. It made me laugh and cry.

Greatest Fear: fear itself.

If I could only keep one household appliance, it would be: coffeemaker. I?m a nightmare before coffee.

Favorite item of clothing: my Seven jeans. They make my heiney look fine-y!

Something you?d be surprised to know about me: My friends call me "the vault." I am the best secret keeper in the world.

Currently reading: The Power of Your Subconscious Mind (by Joseph Murphy).

Favorite book: anything written by Dale Carnegie. He was the start of all self-help.

Favorite comfort food: anything with sugar, probably a doughnut filled with cream.

Greatest achievement: finding joy in this life.

If I couldn't be an actor, I'd be: a talk show host. I love people and have a natural curiosity about them.

If I had one wish, it would be: to be absolutely, utterly, fabulously fearless.

Most treasured possession: my memories.

First thing I do when I wake up in the morning: thank God and ask for strength.

Last thing I do before I go to bed: pray in gratitude for another day of life.

Most embarrassing moment: being asked for an autograph while standing nude in a locker room.

Best quality: I am full of love.

Worst quality: I leave things behind. It drives me crazy.

My first kiss: Jeez, who remembers? It was too many semesters ago. But I do remember my best kiss.

Something that makes me see red: when people gossip.

If I could live anywhere, it would be: New York City or a surrounding area ? or somewhere in the desert.

Greatest love: God. He has been there every happy and sad minute of my life.

Quality I like most in a mate: humor; sensitivity; affection; ability to show vulnerabilities; smart.

My hero: Christopher Reeve. Unbelievable courage!

Nobody knows I can: think about six things at once and be focused on all of them.

Person who I would choose to play me in a movie: Kate Hudson

In the event of a fire, aside from human beings or animals, the one possession I would save: my Blackberry.

I never committed a crime, except that time I: stole a bunch of candy when I was 8 and got caught red-handed, literally red-handed. They were cinnamon!

My epitaph: "She was a decent actress, but an amazing friend and lover. She lived her life to the fullest and as she wanted to."

What I would title my autobiography: Cat Tales or Nine Lives
